(Please click image for larger picture) "Just wanted to send a picture of the 39-09 in the kitchen. The 39-09 does pretty well. Actually better than I expected. While it may not be my first choice (given other choices), it does the job quite nicely. While the 39-09 looks very menacing especially when worn on the calf over BDUs, it is a good field knife, not just a dagger. You'll notice I didn't stick it in the cutting board. Don't want to destroy my kitchen just for a photo. The tomato slices are very thin and even, which demonstrates the good edge geometry. That said, I think the 39-09 is worth it's price for those needing a good field knife that will take a lot of punishment and still do the job of a knife."
