(Please click image for larger picture) I went to the forest with my son to check if Ultramarine can be easily turned into a spear (as I read in marketing sheet) and also being used this way. We have chosen most straight stick we could find, we cut it and then we have flattened the edge with Ultramarine to fit better to the tang and tied tightly with a piece of thin rope. Then we tried to use it (although we are not spear experts ;))) and we sort of succeed - even throwing worked! You must remember to tie really tight and better to cut some nicks on the stick edge to assure better wood/rope torque. Good hunting!
