(Please click image for larger picture) "Just wanted to say that I threw the picture of the 39-09 with the Ka-bar in there for comparsion. Have used that Ka-bar for photos before. Most people can relate to it so makes a good standard for photo comparison. The Ka-bar while being a good knife is of course not in the same league as an Extrema Ratio! I did like the photo showing the balance point. Those Italians do a good job with these knives! Actually the kitchen use is a great test of a knife. It gives one an idea how well it will perform around the campfire. I was home and have a can opener so didn't need to open any cans, but I am sure it would easily do the job! Like the 39-09!."
