This coating is very protective against corrosion, oxidation and is non-reflective. The Dark Talon shares some features with the other knives in the BF (Basic Folder) series. Like the others, it is light and slips easily into your pocket. However, its shape and function go beyond the other BF knives. It a utility knife designed with a longer, slimmer blade. (XK suggests you check your knife laws before ordering the Dark Talon.) The Dark Talon rests unseen in a deep pocket except for its clip. The clip is reversible. It is a “bridge” clip that wraps over the end allowing for a very discreet carry. Has a robust point and feels substantial in your hand.
