Extrema Ratio has named this smaller version, the “MF0” folder. Shorter but definitely not shorted on quality or features. The handle on the MF0 [MFzero] has been reduced as much as possible to a minimum length and still give you a good grip. Because of this, the MF0 does not have the MF2's “sub hilt”. The MF0 blade, of course, has followed the handle reduction and has also been shortened. This new compact blade shape is similar to the “leaf” shaped blade on the back-up, fixed blade Shrapnel knife. The MF0 offers you a solid, worry free, locking system that is standard on all the MF knives. The compact sized MF0 is a good option if you need a shorter blade due to local laws. The MF0 has a reversible clip. This clip is a "bridge" clip that wraps around the end - so the knife sits deeper in your pocket. All you see is the clip so your knife is not exposed. There is a window breaker on the end extending beyond the bridge clip. The MF0 is ideal for an EDC. A strong, solid, very compact folder.
